Now I never settle for anything less than homemade! Use it on desserts, as a filling or frosting for cakes, add a dollop to coffee . . . this luscious whipped cream is a dream come true.

Equipment
- Electric beater or stand mixer with whisk attachment
Ingredients
- 1 Pint heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Chill mixing bowl and beaters or whisk in the freezer while you gather other ingredients.
- In a medium sized bowl (a bowl with high sides is helpful, it may splash at first) beat whipping cream on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 1-2 minutes. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix on low speed until combined.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
